Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance Advocacy Fellowship

In May, the Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance, together with the Commonwealth Youth Council, River Valley Irregulars, UNICEF South Asia, and the UNDP Movers Programme, organized an Advocacy Fellowship that brought together 48 young people aged 18 to 24 from across Asia. The fellowship offered hands-on learning in youth advocacy, political literacy, and youth mainstreaming, helping participants understand how young voices can shape public policy and community action. Created in response to the growing demand for authentic youth participation in the region, the initiative built a space for young leaders to exchange ideas, sharpen their perspectives, and act on issues that matter to them.
